Queer Typographies and Other Acts of Typing
Join us on Saturday, March 29, at 4 PM for Queer Typographies and Other Acts of Typing—a special sarau-soirée with Paul Soulellis and students from the Master in Graphic Design program at the Estonian Academy of Arts, hosted by the one and only Ece Canlı! Visiting from Providence, Rhode Island, Paul Soulellis is an artist and educator known for his work in queer methodologies, network culture, and archival justice. He is the founder of Queer.Archive.Work is a non-profit initiative supporting queer publishing through studio space, tools, and resources. Get an exclusive sneak peek at his forthcoming book, Queer Typographies, set for release in 2026 with Bikini Books! The evening will also mark the launch of "Typing...," a collection of writings by EkaGdMa students: Anna Wittenkamp Rich, Archil Tsereteli, Fa(tima)-Ezzahra El Khammas, João (Juca) Pedro Nogueira, Karthik Palepu, Laura Martens, Linnea Lindgren, and Rok Ifko Kranjc. The conversation will be moderated by Ece Canlı, a design researcher, artist, and musician whose work explores the politics of the body and the re-articulation of marginalized narratives.
